Your Visit to Small Wonder

Events take place in the newly renovated Hay Barn at Charleston and last about an hour unless otherwise stated.

Run by City Books, the Small Wonder bookshop stocks a wide range of related titles. Most events will be followed by a book signing session.

Charleston Shop:

Open throughout Small Wonder and stocking a varied range of Bloomsbury-inspired books, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, prints and gift ideas.

Food & Drink:

The Threshing Barn is Charleston’s new restaurant.  Its normal opening times are Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

During Small Wonder (28 to 30 September), the Threshing Barn will be serving drinks, sandwiches, soup and snacks from 10am to 9.30pm, and hot food will be on offer from a local gourmet street vendor.

There are designated disabled parking spaces.  Sections of the car park are covered with gravel and some surfaces may be slightly uneven.

The Hay Barn, cafe and bookshop are accessible to wheelchair users.

There are two accessible toilets on site, one in the corridor linking the barns and the galleries, and the other located near the offices.

An induction loop is fitted in the barns.
