YOUNG PEOPLE

Our mission is to inspire the artists, writers and thinkers of the future and support young people’s development of creativity and personal expression.

Young Bohemians

Designed to stimulate and encourage young people aged 8 – 14 to be creative, explore the arts and get involved in debate these workshops are inspired by Charleston, its collections and gallery exhibitions. The bookable workshops are artist lead and offer the opportunity to develop new or build on existing skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Workshops usually take place over 1 or 2 days during school holidays.

  • Animation and film making
  • Painting and drawing
  • Print making
  • Found object collaged light boxes
  • Techno junk portraits
  • Sculpture working with a range of materials (Modroc, willow withies and clay)
