Bestselling author Bill Bryson brings his unique combination of sharp-eyed humour and fascinating depth of knowledge to Charleston in a celebration of his new book, The Body: A Guide for Occupants.
In ‘The Body’ Bill turns his attention to the human body, how it functions and its remarkable ability to heal itself. “What I learned,” Bryson comments, “is that we are infinitely more complex and wondrous, and often more mysterious, than I had ever suspected. There really is no story more amazing than the story of us.”
The ticket price includes a hardback copy of The Body and entry to Charleston’s new exhibition, Post-Impressionist Living: The Omega Workshops.
Doors will open at 6:30pm, allowing time for a visit to the exhibition. Seating will begin at 7pm, for a 7:30pm start.
This event has been organised in partnership with Much Ado Books.
