Kamila Shamsie’s Women’s Prize short-listed novel Home Fire is a literary thriller about prejudice, immigration and the slide into radicalism as well as an expansive love story. Its ambitious scope encompasses a contemporary retelling of Sophocles’ tragedy, Antigone. She will be in conversation with Gillian Slovo, author of docudramas Guantanamo and The Riots.
