To mark the two anniversaries of Keynes’ enormous contribution to world affairs, historian Margaret MacMillan delivers a specially commissioned talk: ‘Learning from the past? John Maynard Keynes at the Paris Peace Conference (1919) and the Bretton Woods Conference (1944)’.

Keynes’s influential The Economic Consequences of the Peace was written while staying at Charleston.
