An intensive day of Life Drawing, for all abilities. The day will begin with a tailored tour of the House, focusing particularly of the many beautiful representations of the human form in the collection. Tutor Silvia MacRae-Brown will then lead you through a series of exercises with an excellent life model, working from a variety of poses both short and long. The workshop offers the opportunity to consider shape, line, structure and composition. Participants will also, weather permitting, spend part of the day life drawing ” en plein air” enjoying the freedom of drawing the model in the glorious summertime garden, on a day when we are closed to the general public.
House Tour, delicious lunch, refreshments and all materials are included in the price.
