Charleston and Much Ado Books present an evening with interior design icon, Kit Kemp at Charleston on Wednesday 5 June.
Following the publication of her latest book ‘Design Thread’ Kit Kemp, Creative Director and co-owner of Firmdale Hotels London and New York, will discuss her creative process and the way she weaves a distinctive design thread through each room to create memorable interiors.
Showcasing her unique approach, Kit will delve into a selection of her latest designs, each treated as individual works of art. Kit will also discuss her love of the Bloomsbury Group and the inspiration for her design of Charlotte Street Hotel in London’s Fitzrovia.
Tickets are £20 per person (or £18 for Friends of Charleston) and include the talk with a welcome drink and canapés; as well as access to the Gardens and Exhibitions. The talk will be followed by a book signing. In support of Fine Cell Work and the Charleston Trust.
