Folk Reimagined

Join three acclaimed authors and discover how we can find common ground and shared humanity amidst legends and folklore

For as long as there have been stories to tell, folk tales have been shared around the world and passed down through generations. Do these primitive and ancient stories still resonate today?

Join three acclaimed authors with a shared love of folklore and fairytales for an evening of thought-provoking conversation about how we can find our common ground and shared humanity amidst these legends, cautionary tales, riddles and enchantments.

Elizabeth Garner, award-winning author of ‘Lost & Found’, a treasure trove of folk tales, is joined by travel writer Nicholas Jubber, who has written a fascinating history of the strange lives behind the even stranger tales, and Zoe Gilbert, whose first novel ‘Folk’ was shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize.
