Use of your Charleston Trust (Charleston) gift voucher constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions and we therefore recommend you read them carefully.
Charleston reserves the right to update and change the terms and conditions of our gift vouchers at any time. Charleston gift vouchers remain the property of The Charleston Trust, who maintains the right to cancel the voucher in situations where it is deemed by Charleston (at its sole discretion) necessary to do so. These matters do not affect your legal rights.
The value of your Charleston gift voucher can be redeemed for any tickets or events booked online or at Charleston as well as for on-site and telephone-order shop and cafe purchases. Your gift voucher cannot be used for membership renewals or for purchases from our online shop.
If the item(s) or event(s) you purchase is/are of lesser value than the balance on the gift voucher, the remaining balance will be kept on your voucher for future use up to the expiry date given when the gift voucher was first issued. The gift voucher balance cannot be exchanged for cash or redeemed against the purchase of another voucher.
Should you return or exchange for a lesser value any item(s) purchased using a Charleston gift voucher, any refund amount due will be credited to the original method of payment (i.e. returned to the gift voucher).
Your Charleston Trust gift voucher is valid until 31 December 2021, after which any remaining balance will be removed, and the voucher will become invalid and no longer available for use.
In cases where your Charleston gift voucher is lost, Charleston will use reasonable efforts to re-issue your voucher by email provided you can supply sufficient information (acting in Charleston’s sole discretion) to confirm your voucher details. Charleston cannot be held responsible for any balance lost on a Charleston gift voucher as a result of theft or fraud.
