Charleston to Charleston

In November 2017 Charleston (England) will come to Charleston (South Carolina) in the first annual Charleston To Charleston Literary Festival. The festival will bring acclaimed U.S. and international authors to Charleston, South Carolina, for a series of events over the course of several days to discuss their works, sign their books and meet readers and book lovers from the Lowcountry and across the nation.

The new festival is being coordinated by Charleston To Charleston, Inc., a non-profit corporation organized by the Charleston Trust  and The Charleston Library Society, the second oldest circulating library in the United States, as well as a number of South Carolinians committed to bringing a world-class literary festival to Charleston, South Carolina. The Festival was inaugurated in January 2017 in a series of events featuring Lord Julian Fellowes, the creator of Downtown Abbey.
