Visit to Hilton Hall

Friday 12 September
Tickets £45 include a glass of wine.

Garden opens at 12 noon for picnics.

Hilton Hall in Cambridgeshire, a striking seventeenth century house and garden, formerly owned by Robert Walpole, was the home of David and Angelica Garnett and their four daughters. Quentin and Olivier Bell and their children often visited there during the summer holidays. It is now owned by Richard Garnett, David’s son by his first marriage. He and his wife Jane will show us round the house, which still contains a unique collection of work by Bloomsbury and other 20th century artists.

There will also be an opportunity to view rare video footage of the family.
