The Artists’ Garden
Tuesday 3 June
5.30pm - 8.30pm • Tickets £22 include talks, a glass of wine and a private visit to the house and garden.
The garden at Charleston is quintessentially artistic. How might we define its stylistic elements? What creative processes underlie the fluency of its planting, the radiance of its colour? What conversations between art and nature are expressed in its characteristic ease and informality? Join us on this summer’s evening to explore these themes with garden designer, Nuala Hancock; landscape architect, Annabel Downs and Charleston’s gardener, Mark Divall.
Illustrated talks will be followed by drinks and conversation in the garden. The ground floor of the house will also be open to visitors.
