AGM and Quentin Bell's Travel Diaries

The previously unseen travel diaries of Quentin Bell will be shared in this special event for the Friends of Charleston. His son Julian Bell will introduce and read a selection of Quentin's unique and distinctively droll personal commentaries. Quentin's love of journals clearly started at a young age with the improvised accounts in the Charleston Bulletin which Quentin wrote with his brother Julian during their childhood. While these childhood accounts have been much studied this will be the first time that an audience will hear from his travel writings. This event will include the AGM.
