Events: All events last just over an hour, unless otherwise stated, and take place in a traditional marquee in the beautiful grounds of Charleston farmhouse.

What to Bring: Come prepared for the vagaries of a typical English summer’s day!

Book Shop/Author Signings: Run by City Books, the festival bookshop stocks a wide range of related book titles. Most speakers will be signing after their event.

Charleston Shop: Open throughout the festival and stocking a wide range of Bloomsbury-inspired books, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, prints and gift ideas.

Festival Tea Tent: Situated in the Charleston orchard and serving a selection of freshly prepared salads and light meals. Open one hour before the first event until the start of the last event.

Festival Bar: Situated within the main marquee. Open one hour before the first event until the end of the last event:

Picnics: There are many nice spots to picnic at Charleston but we politely request that furniture and baskets should not be left unattended. The tea-tent area is not available for picnics.
