The Charleston Festival takes place over a 10 day period at the end of May. Now in its 24th year, the festival takes place in a traditional marquee in the beautiful grounds of the farmhouse garden and regularly attracts a stimulating array of writers, performers, politicians and thinkers, both high profile and up and coming, national and international. Small Wonder is Charleston’s annual short story jamboree and is held in the Charleston barn – an ideal setting for an interactive, autumnal festival with lively readings, discussions, workshops and performances by innovative national and international writers. The programme for Small Wonder 2013 (26-29 Sept 2013) will be announced in July.
