Charleston is now taking bookings for private events for 2009 / 2010 and offers an enchanting setting for your summer party, birthday, or corporate event.
The grounds at Charleston offer quintessential English country gardens that were famously a source of inspiration for the Bloomsbury artists and are exclusively yours with any booking. The Walled Garden and the orchard provide the perfect settings for drinks before dinner.
The barn at Charleston
Charleston has a large L-shaped 17th century Sussex flint barn, use of which is included in the venue hire fee.
Exclusive use of Charleston for your event starts from £1,500 (no VAT is payable). For catering, furniture, equipment, flowers and drinks, we can recommend suppliers or you may bring your own.
The Appleshed
The Appleshed is a perfect venue for your meeting, training session, seminar or lunch. A private space seating 35 theatre style or 15 boardroom, the Appleshed is converted from original 19th century Sussex outbuildings and also contains a pretty courtyard garden. Available for daytime hire from November to March each year, and outside
