SCHOOL VISITS

Primary visits

Primary visits are aimed at art and design pupils at Key Stages 1 and 2 of the National Curriculum. A visit is two hours long and involves a tour of the house led by an experienced guide, with time in each room for activities like discussion, sketching and recording information. Tours can be arranged to support the Units 4B 'Take a Seat' or 5B 'Containers' in the QCA schemes of work for art and design. Alternatively teachers can select a more general tour called 'Pattern'. For further details or to arrange a visit, please call Charleston's education officer, Darren Clarke, on 01323 811626 or email.
