Talks

Charleston is pleased to offer a choice of lectures, given by our Curator, Dr Darren Clarke. These would normally form part of a group visit but can also be delivered off site.

Picturing Charleston charts the emerging presence of Charleston in the artists’ work, from anonymous subject to quintessential Bloomsbury residence.

Bloomsbury and Sussex explores the groups relationship with the Sussex countryside.

Both talks last 45 minutes.

The Berwick Murals describes the circumstances surrounding the murals painted by Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell.

Lasts 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for questions.
