Charleston receives no statutory government funding and our survival rests both on our own fundraising ability and the income we generate across our activities. See below for the many ways you can get involved in helping to keep the trust going. Also, every penny you spend at Charleston, be it in our shop or cafe, on an event or entry to the house itself, helps us to open up Charleston for more people and preserve it for future generations.

Donate to The Charleston Annual Fund
The house and the collection are at the centre of everything that the Charleston Trust does. Conservation, preservation and maintenance of them, together with the core costs of running Charleston as an independent charity, are some of the most difficult areas for which to fundraise. The Annual Fund supports this work to ensure that the House at Charleston and its collection remains the same for many years to come and for future generations to enjoy.
