‘Charleston Regained’ has made the house and its
collection more accessible. A computerised database
will make the collection available online on the
Charleston website from 2005. The project created
new ramps and handrails to Charleston’s shop, gallery
and lavatory and a new corridor was cut through a
former airing cupboard to improve wheelchair access
through the ground floor of the house.
