Skios

Set on an exclusive Greek Island retreat, Michael Frayn’s new novel, Skios, is a story of mistaken identity and misdirected passion; in other words, a spiralling farce from an acknowledged master. At one end of the island, the high-paying guests of a world renowned foundation are smitten by the keynote speaker, despite his intimidating reputation; at the other end, an old gentleman appears to have lost all his possessions, including his sense of reality.
