Little Nell

Inspired by Claire Tomalin’s book The Invisible Woman: The Story of Nelly Ternan and Charles Dickens, Simon Gray’s play Little Nell dramatises the clandestine 13 year love affair between Dickens and Nelly Ternan and the consequences for their respective families. In an exclusive one off performance for Charleston, a mixture of the original stage and radio cast reassembles for a dramatised reading:
