Fundraising Manager

The Charleston Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Fundraising Manager to deliver the Charleston Trusts’ fundraising strategy. With the support of the Head of Development, the Fundraising Manager will be required to maximise income through a wide range of funding sources including trusts and foundations, the public sector, individuals and companies as well as managing and cultivating relationships with Charleston’s existing supporters including the Friends and Omega Group membership schemes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising across these areas, relationship management, excellent communication skills and the ability to generate and maintain income strands.

Volunteers

Get Involved At Charleston we offer many volunteering opportunities, from helping with mailings and organising events, to weeding the garden and working with the Curator. The time and expertise that volunteers bring to Charleston are of enormous value to the Trust. We also hope to provide volunteers with experience and references they can use in developing a career in the arts. Volunteer room stewards Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from April to October. Room stewards welcome visitors and bring the house to life by providing information about Charleston’s occupants and their artwork. Stewards also keep an eye on security and visitor safety in the house. No experience or background in the arts is needed just a positive approach and willingness to learn.
